In this exhibition, Matsumoto Hisae shows two types of works. The one is the composite of useless and discarded artifacts such as the weapons made of the ceramics which former Japan forces made in closing period of the second world war and the natural objects such as live plants which create the scenes regardless of a human intention. The other is the works under the theme of "Kojiki", the oldest description of the Japanese history , or "Manyoshu", Japanese oldest poem collection, to express human respect to nature. By the contrast of these two types of works, she expresses her question about the human condition which swings between nature and artificiality, and also tries to search for a new vision of the relation between humanity and nature.
