Touching paint and a canvas with bare hands gives Shijo Tomoe very important feeling by which she can " talk " with the painting. And repetition of that action leads her to dive into the depth where she can meet something she calls "Irreplaceable existence". Actually, among the phantasmagoric clouds of colors which at first look like purely abstract images, you will meet some "eyes" looking at you. For shijo, this relation is essential like that of cytoplasm and the nucleus, because she is trying to be as one with the whole world which gave her birth and growth.
