Scoop Brancisco was born in Japan and was raised up in San Francisco. Having completed his MFA at University of Hawaii, he was back in his motherland, Japan. The artist felt the gap of the art scene of Japan and the United States. For example in Japan, modern painter's exhibition(like Marc Chagall or impressionists) is much preferred to contemporary artists. Brancisco attempts to neutralize it. His classical surrealistic style painting reveals life of today in Japan. At the same time, Brancisco proposes how to taste the works in the gallery.
