(2010), acrylic on canvas, 200×364cm Solo exhibition by Masahiro Mineoka (b. 1980). My motives of paintings: funny figures of human beings often seen on the street, the anger toward the people acting at their own will, or the images which derive from the visual interest of human form. I paint transforming such people or factor into mystery man or monster. I impose punishment on the unpunished casual evildoings by men of today in my paintings and I create art works hoping such evildoings to be diminished in the actual life. * The text provided by MAKII MASARU FINE ARTS.
