If painting is a human act which engraves the conscious of the very painter him/herself, printing may be a magic which brings something special into the work not just of the artist. What happens in between printing process and the outcome seem to be affected by what we do not know, actions from the parallel world no matter how much we prepare for the outcome. Here four artists gather together, who have been widening their possibilities of expressions of ‘printing’ in their own experiences. Yoshiki Aihara faces the absurdity of the present society, Kazuyoshi Sasaki continues his questioning towards who he is, Hiroshi Honma looks at the mystery of the energy of life, and Hiroko Matsuoka discovers the beauty from every ordinary day. Why do we ‘print’? We try to look for the answers in these artists’ experiments. http://galleryk.la.coocan.jp/Information Provided by: Gallery K Period: October 30,2017 (Mon) 〜 November 4,2017 (Sat) |
